Who we are
JR Electrical Projects Ltd (company number 14254755, registered in England and Wales; registered office 18 The Ropewalk The Ropewalk, Nottingham, England, NG1 5DT) is the controller of personal information collected through this website. You can contact us about privacy at j.relectrical@outlook.com or on 07881 096231.
What we collect and why
When you send an enquiry through our contact form we collect your name, email address and message, and, if you choose to provide them, your phone number and the location of your project. We use this information to respond to your enquiry and, where relevant, to prepare and deliver the work you ask us about. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries about our services and, where an enquiry leads to work, taking steps to enter into a contract with you.
If you contact us directly by telephone or email, we use the details you provide for the same purposes.
Who receives your information
Enquiries submitted through the form are delivered to our company mailbox, which is provided by Microsoft (Outlook). The website and the email server that sends form submissions are hosted by our web hosting provider. Our website provider maintains the site on our behalf and may access technical logs in order to do so. The contact form is protected against automated abuse by Cloudflare Turnstile, which processes limited technical information about your browser and connection to confirm that a submission is genuine. We do not sell your information or share it with anyone for marketing purposes.
How long we keep it
Enquiry correspondence that does not lead to work is kept for up to 12 months after our last contact with you, then deleted. Where an enquiry leads to work, the related correspondence forms part of the project record and is retained for six years after completion of the work, in line with the limitation period for contractual claims, after which it is deleted.
International transfers
Some of the service providers named above may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where they do, transfers are made under safeguards recognised by UK data protection law, such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
Cookies and storage
This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies. Cloudflare Turnstile may set a short-lived cookie or use browser storage strictly to perform its security check on the contact form. No other tracking is used.
Your rights
You have the right to ask for access to the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict its use, and to data portability where applicable. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details above. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
